I absolutely love senior photography. It is so fun to see each person's personality and help pick locations to match their style. I have gotten some inquires lately asking where I prefer to shoot senior sessions so here are my favorite spots from the past few months of seniors! (Frankenmuth is definitely an honorable mention I just don't have sessions there until October) I have been wanting to showcase my seniors for a while now and finally had a minute to sit down and write about how amazing these ladies were during their sessions!
Downtown Saginaw
Haylee - Hemlock High School
Saginaw is near and dear to my heart, as a work downtown at the Children's Zoo, and I love to see its potential and charm. I also love the variety of backdrops it provides. For Haylee's session we took her mom, dad, and doggo Brewster riverside by the SVRC, the Water Treatment Plant, and Ojibway Island. Haylee was such a cutie and I appreciate her and her family so much for being amazing clients and sharing how much they enjoyed the session with their friends and loved ones.
Bay City State Park
Gracie - Michigan Lutheran Seminary
Bay City State Park seems to be any photographer's favorite location if you find yourself water side around 7pm on a summer weekday! I love the wooden walkway, the tall grasses, and Gracie's dress was perfect for the beach! Gracie actually works at the Zoo with me, just inside the Kona Ice truck, and she is such a sweetheart. Her mom actually won her senior session from a school silent auction, which I was more than happy to donate to.
Dow Gardens, Midland
Alaina - Saginaw Arts and Sciences Academy
Last but certainly not least is this whimsical session. Dow Gardens is amazing and totally worth the admission price. Even during COVID they were very accommodating and had no problem with us shooting on grounds. I love the many colors the flowers provide and the architecture of the various bridges. My favorite part though has to be the little greenhouse in the middle! Alaina was a little shy at first but turned into an absolute model during her session and I had so much fun creating this magic.
