Hands down one of my favorite engagement sessions to date, like I have no words, so just enjoy!

I met Maddy and Landen at SVSU through greek life and I was so honored when they asked me to photograph their wedding day, because they ARE my northern Michigan ideal couple. These cuties are doing a colorful and fun backyard wedding this August and I can't wait to work with some other SVSU Greek Life alumni who have started working in the wedding industry as well. Like if there isn't frat house party music, I don't want it, am I right?
For their engagement shoot, we went to the Empire Bluff Trail at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It is about a mile and a half round trip and has STUNNING views of Lake Michigan! No matter the spot on this trail, it made for spectacular pictures to highlight the love between these two.
The day of their engagement session we hiked up the bluff right before sunset when it gets busy and we took a couple stops on the way, mostly because I was out of breath but also to capture some woodsy pics before we got to the overlook. These two were absolute naturals and it was the dreamiest of sessions.
As Kid Rock said "it was summertime in Northern Michigan"
